I was always infatuated with the ginormous Stork nests on the chimneys/rooftops in Turkey. Folks, so I was told, consider them *good luck* and would tolerate their nests on their chimneys. Pairs faithful to each other, for life, were faithful to their nests too; returning, rebuilding, getting bigger every year.
To me, it was a novelty. Fun to see.
