I tried Brave a couple of weeks ago and it was buggy and jerky. Just tried it again with the same results.

Brave is the open source version of the Chrome browser so it might be a while before it’s ready for prime time.

Mozilla Firefox is still working fine for me though. I don’t like how it hogs memory though. I have to close the browser now and again to get it to clear from the memory then it’s good for a while which might be a day or days depending on how busy I am with it.

Chrome is good but I like having the control with FF I can’t get with Chrome (or Brave). I might have to give the Avast browser a looksee and possibly Edge as long as it isn’t a MS product. Opera might be another one in my future. I’m thinking I will soon be dual booting to Linux Ubuntu and go from there until I get it set up right for me.

Hope you’re one to be trusted.
Go into options and tell it to not remember anything.
Use Ghostery and the real adblock plus(4.5 stars or some such) extention/add on.
Run Ccleaner every day.

I now remember one problem I had with Brave was that I could find a way to import all my bookmarks. I tried a number of ways and nothing worked. And I had some of the problems you mentioned. Just isn’t quite ready.
