Ladies and gentlemen, here is the 2017 NHL Bracket Challenge!
Here is your chance to compete against your fellow Freepers and pick the winners of this years' playoff series.
Just pick which team wins each series, and then from the team you picked, pick the next series and the next.
And then pick your team for the Stanley Cup Champions!
Good Luck!
PREDATORS WIN IN CHICAGO 1-0. Chicago has defeated all of those central division teams so much, Preds, Wild and Blues. So we will see.
Leafs lose in OT to the Caps; pretty good showing for Toronto except for the final result.
The Hawks looked very mortal. It was a good road game from Nashville (sans a couple brain farts at the end).
Toronto looked good. Love all those Maple Leaf kids. I hope they at least win a game.
And Fleury makes it 2-0!
Good for your team.
I don’t have the game on but it might be that Montreal tied there game with the Rangers late, 3-3, looks like it is on to OT.
It’s on the USA Network right now
What a great game. Fleury coming up big and I Love that Sid and the Kids line! On to Columbus where the fans will be rocking Nationwide. I want the Pens to keep that stinking cannon silent! I hate that thing.
I agree.
I can’t wait to see Torts in the post game interview.
HABS win... so there that is, in OT. They scored to tie it up with less than a minute in the 3rd it sounds like to me, can’t watch it currently.
Looks like there won’t be massive amounts of Canadians jumping from buildings tonight.
Canada went 0-5 through the first games. At least the riots will be put off for awhile.
Have you ever seen the Penguins jersey, it might be from the original expansion team in ‘67 that had Penguins written on it like the Rangers have theirs’? I thought that was sharp looking.
Man, in their white uniforms like tonight, it reminds me so much of the Bruins.
Here is an image of that old jersey: https://www.coolhockey.com/images/histories/1967-68Penguins.jpg
But I understand if they want to synchronize the colors of all the sports teams, Pirates, Steelers, Penguins.
If this stays like this, Penguins will pull their goalie in a little bit. Amazing that they came back from that 2 goal deficit in one of the games, the Ducks did that in a big playoff game as well, I remember.
The play is real physical, I don’t like it too physical.
There was one team; and they were so physical; I didn’t think they were a good champion a decade or so ago, but that could just be to me. A lot of that goes around.
