Just bought a bottle of oil of oregano yesterday, wife has a sore throat, I’ve got some bad teeth. It’s worked before.
I doubt they are using leaf oregano. Oregano essential oil is more likely. It does have antibacterial properties according to several studies done on the oil.
or more likely, the American people think they need an antibiotic for EVERYTHING and feel let down, disappointed, and angry when the doc doesn't give them a prescription....
you can not imagine the pressure people put on their docs for medicines, all kinds...
Costco has a phenomenal roasted chicken for $4.99....
No gub’mint regulations required - if the Free Market demands it, it will happen.
Fast forward 40 years and it's just not the same food. Taste is bland, quality down. These days, I will skip a meal before I eat the products from most fast food fried chicken places.
I knew about the former. The later sounded crazy until I actually tried it. It is in my medicine cabinet now.
Hey, great. Like only three States over to get to Tuscaloosa (the nearest).
If I wasn't sure there would be enough Popeye's in-between to keep me going, I wouldn't bother making the trip. Should wait until watermelon harvest season to make a really big deal out of it though. If I can hold off that long...
Don't tell me (anybody -- don't say it) that you don't like fried chicken and watermelon. If somebody doesn't care much for grits, or collard greens, they could be forgiven, but fried chicken and watermelon? If they don't care for those two, they should made to eat quiche until they can't eat quiche anymore.
.
There is no such thing as oregano or garlic resistant bacteria.
.
Nope. Oregano is one of the 11 secret herbs and spices.
Get some oregano in 'em while they're young, and they can reduce the amount they have to use in final preparation.
See? It all balances out, in the end. ;)
.
The rate of food-borne illness would fall to zero if they really do this.
My guess is that the Pharma-death industry will move to get congress to block it.

We have a Bojangles in Montgomery and in Auburn, too.
I am sure you will be happy to share with us ...

Yes, you've made your journey into an ancient pilgrimage of sorts, with stops at the "shrines" along the way. And Popeye's is most certainly worthy of veneration.
Oh yes when it's watermelon season! I've been known to get off work, pickup a watermelon, and that's all the supper I need. Maybe a beer or two on the side.
The oregano and thyme are publicity gimmicks.
Big time sanitation is their key.
I second the BS.
