We can only hope so. If this is true, would anyone object to tax-payer dollars advertising this place to New-Englanders and those living on the Pacific Coast? Also, we might want to saturate the airwaves in D.C. and Chicago.

The climate of the isle can be best described as ‘cool and wet’. It’d be like Seattle....300 days out of the year with mist or rain. On snow, it’s about 30 inches a year....which is due mostly to temperatures.
If you wanted isolation, this would be the place to go.
