It’s kind of like a classic rock band having to play their one massive hit every concert... Every US president has to go and kill people and blow up stuff somewhere shortly after taking office.
My dad, a one star put it thusly:
- “The purpose of the army (”my Army”, you could hear the capitalization) is to kill people and break things. The President decides WHERE we kill people and break things.”
Notice the date of his e-mail, October 9, 2012. That was when our government was pushing the youtube story hard as the reason for the Benghazi debacle. He was as mad as we were at the time, suspecting it was pure smoke.
