Trump has no intention of going to war with Russia. This was a surgical strike aimed at showing Assad a “displeasure” for using chemical weapons and that it will happen again if he and Russia use such weapons again. People knee jerk over something like this to a point that they begin building bomb shelters and hoarding food then dig out their “terrorist” binoculars to look terrorists in the neighborhood all the while dodging bullets from our own American gangsters. Ugh.
It’s not just displeasure. Both the U.S. and Syria are signatories to the treaty that bans chemical weapons. The use of them is a direct provocation against every other signatory. It required an unequivocal response.
