Bruce/Caityln has fathered six children. SIX! A telephone works both ways. Why not give them a call here and there?
Some trans. may not realize that once they have completed all the surgeries and the therapies, they have effectively killed off the character their family has always known. That’s a very big deal. Years later, there may still be grieving for that missing person, and anger at the ‘new’ person for putting everyone through it.

Everyone is supposed to pretend as though that person has stopped living, even though he has not. It’s confusing and in some cases, borders on cruel to those who grew up knowing exactly who their father was. There are other trans-families who don’t suffer this kind of anxiety at all. At least they say they don’t.

And worse yet his behavior seems to have affected his family who themselves are a dysfunctional and troubled bunch. To Bruce Jenner I would say : Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder. And I hate to break it to you, but mental disorders are not attractive. For love of you, your family will stick to you. But you should know your illness hurts them nearly as much as it hurts you.
