Jupiter goes into Virgo every 12 years and stays there 9 to 12 months before entering another “house”. That is nothing new. I think John was pointing to something more substantive occurring in the Heavens, perhaps at one of the times Jupiter is in Virgo....something so obvious that it just can’t be ignored...such as an approach of a rogue asteroid or planet at the same time the Earth has entered great spiritual collapse and distress!
As for eclipses...they have occurred multiple times all over the Earth in my lifetime without Godly judgmental impact the next day(or over the next months). I do believe that God sends signs in the heavens but the type that people will see and mourn over..such as “the sign of the coming of the Son of Man”. They will be obviously different from the repetitive cyclical signs. The last days will feature unusual signs in the moon and stars, the Earth will have roaring winds and waves, the sign of the Son of Man will appear. The Earth’s day night cycle will be reduced by 4 hours(A 6th part of the sun will be lost and moon will not show her light). In other words...there will be cataclysmic signs in the heavens that break all bounds of astrological and zodiacal explanations and myths!
And that is the point....When God really decides to “send” a sign..we’ll know it(though the enemy may try to send lies via corrupted media to keep the people from seeking reconcilation with God) in our guts!

What I meant was the specific description of the woman in Revelation 12 — clothed with the sun, moon under her feet, and crowned with 12 stars.
However, perhaps I should not be so adamant. I am restating claims of others in very simplistic terms. And I have not personally verified them or considered a lot of the objections others have made to them.

I don’t think people seeing full eclipses are as common as you are describing. I’ve never seen one in my lifetime. And the one that happens on August 21 this year will only be a total eclipse for a very narrow band across the country. Here in Houston, the view will only be of a partial eclipse.
It has been 38 years since the last one (over the lower 48 states). There were only 4 during 1951-2000, and only be 4 during 2001-2050. This one is the first (ever I think) of two (in the near future) that will cross the 48 states from coast to coast. The other will be August 12, 2045.
Granted, the eclipses that were preludes to judgment in Biblical times were probably ones that fell within the seven “feasts”. So, perhaps I need to be less dramatic about using these as dire warnings. People need to repent because God says so, not just because there are special signs in the sky.
As you pointed out, there will be “cataclysmic signs” during the end times. These are NOT those signs.
