Darmok was probably their best.

Redemption Parts 1 & 2 were good also.

Good choices. I would’ve included the 2 part Borg episode with Locutus.

Why did they cut out Teri Hatcher? :(

"The Inner Light" was an enjoyable episode to me and I have not seen it again since it's first run on June 1, 1992. While a large part of the TNG fan base loves it, I am not one of them.

"Darmok" is another widely loved episode within the TMG fan base, but it again did not make the world move for me. Yet it did become an inside joke with the two Star Trek Fan drinking buddies I ran with back in those days.

When one of us was asked how our latest date went, the reply would be:

"Okay, but not as good as the ménage à trois... I had with Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra!"

As to "The Royal", let me just say you won't like my upcoming worst list--

While I enjoyed “The Best of Both Worlds,” the best thing I liked about it was making it possible for Jean-Luc to take a journey home to France for my #14 Best Episode “Family” with one of my favorite character actors of all time, the great and still kicking at 82, Jeremy Kemp—

Re: This list is a joke right?

There is always one in ever crowd who if you do not totally agree with them, they just have to pull down their pants and wee-wee in the punch--

If you don't like my list, then get off you lazy arse and do your own.

Yet you have successfully made it onto my A-list.

Don't thank me, just knowing you have nothing else to contribute to intelligent conversation in the future is reward enough.

Re: Why did they cut out Teri Hatcher?

It was only a guest appearance, she was not a series regular.

The best episodes were the ones with Wesley Crusher.
Or the ones without Wesley Crusher.

The one with Scotty could have been so much better.
They had to patronize him and were so smug around him.
Scotty should have punched out Picard and Geordi.

There are no “Best Episodes” only varying degrees of “bad”!

Was a huge fan of TOS. And Enterprise. The PC middle period of ST series kept me watching but also cursing at the blatant socialist PC bullcrap

Lots of folks hated Enterprise. I found it to be the best since TOS.

I found Voyager almost impossible to view until the advent of 7 of 9.

Next Generation and DS9 were both watchable with some good episodes and a bunch of sinkers. (That could be said about TOS too). But something just didn’t sit well with me.

Nice choices, some of my favorites. My number 1 would be “I Borg”.

Fan of Enterprise also. Season 5 is Trek gold minus the finale. Even liked the Xinfi arc

So in other words, you really like Data.

I liked the one where three renegade Klingons attempt to take over the Enterprise. In fact those episodes centered around Worf and the Klingons were some of the better ones. Also some of the episodes with Q were pretty good, especially the one where he “introduces” the Enterprise to the Borg. Overall not that big a fan of TNG though.

Yeah four was good. The two alternate universe “through a mirror darkly” was superb. Also the two part one with robocop ‘terra prime’

Season 3s ‘Carpenter Street’ was great. But my favorite was season 2 “Carbon Creek”
