I don't have time to read the frikken articles.
I read FR excerpts and comments. Why would I read the article when the best minds are commenting here on FR.
Tell me about it. Right before I moved to Texas, in Philly, I was driving down our one way street parking on both sides and driveways left and right. I caught this young girl about 6 out of the corner of my eye riding her bike on the sidewalk. Thankfully I kept an eye on her because she drove right down the skirting and right in front of me across the street. To this day I am so thankful I was able to stop in time. It scared the living sheet out of me.Trust me I’ve been in some super situations in the military and my other government job but that for sure was the scariest event in my life.
I doubt they will lead you to much wisdom.
But I am a humble guy.
Of all Freepers I know, you are the only one that follows my "posts."
Kinda creepy.
Go to my home page and click on my "in forum."
See if they are as you surmise.
Yes that's creepy, but you seem to like it.
She wasn’t cited. And she didn’t attempt to flee. She deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Sunset was 7:21. If she was heading west she could have had the sun in her eyes, although neither of these are addressed in the article.
It’s a time honored tradition here at FR to just read the excerpts and post. I’m just joking so don’t take it personally.
“Sad death, for sure, but where were his parents and why was he out on the streets that late at night? “
It was 7PM——he was 14——that’s hardly late.
.
RIP.
You beat me to it.
7 PM would have been supper at most homes with children. After supper, you don’t let your children go out and play in the street if you have any sense.
Actually, it was addressed in the article. It says the driver was heading westbound on West Metarie Avenue - in other words, she was probably driving into a setting sun.
You are correct. I don’t know how I missed that. I must have muddled it when I read West Metarie Avenue.
