Tht is exactly how Mohammad ibn Abdul Wahhab (1700s) looked at things that were corrupting Islam - innovations.
Wahhabi Islam is named after him, and it is a back to basics Islam which is embraced presently by ISIS, al Qaeda and other militant Islamic groups,and pushed by Saudi Arabia.
Wahhabism has gotten a lot of us Kafirs killed, along with many Muslim Heretics who try to add innovations to the religion or try to modernize it.
Coincidentally, I agree with Wahhab's fundamental interpretation of Islam and it is not good for us Kafirs. - Tom
