Stupid comment but I still feel badly for the guy who lost his grandson. But it was the kid’s choice to do what he did. Who knows whether they might have killed an innocent victim.

I agree with that. teenagers make dumb decisions all the time. but they also murder people all the time. This kid crossed a line he shouldn’t have and fair has got nothing to do about anything after that. he shouldn’t have broke into another man’s home.

I feel bad for the grandpa too. The kids made their choices and paid dearly. That’s a clear headed fact that I can state while not having to deal with a personal loss. Before it ever hit close to home, I’m guessing this grandpa thought the same as everyone else here. My kids are those dead boy’s age. My hope and prayer is they continue making good, godly, law-abiding choices. We are all one stupid choice from wrecking our own lives and the lives of those around us.

Grandpa can not admit his failure, in not stepping into his grandson’s life and correcting, nurturing and teaching the proper way of life. So he has to blame someone else in his own failure.

Grandpa knew his grandson was a scumbag and did nothing to help him.
