Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that is this shows motus operandi. I'm betting the fight with the Saviors is a two part show and tonight we get to see the first part. In October we will get to see the finale of this season and beginning of next season. Maybe it's because it's based on comic books yet to be released. Maybe Negan survives, rebuilds his army of takers, and comes back to kill more key players.

I don't like it anymore than you do. Just finish the dang season fer cryin out loud.

This is one of those TV series that would be more fun to binge watch once the show is finished for good. No six month waiting between 2 part shows.

I'm thinking they will.

From the previews from last week's episode, I didn't see any fighting.

Looks like MORE build up.

I was thinking I would actually not watch tonight's episode and just right this show off.

I'll probably watch it, but if the "war" isn't started and concluded tonight, I'm done with this show.

This season was a dreadful slog. Every episode was just a shakedown by the Saviors. The plot barely progressed after the first episode.
