Methinks it is a (ptui-ptui) democrat run city. That is even more of a reason to not live there.
I was considering living there many years ago. What cured me was not so much the interstate traffic - bad as it is. No what astounded me was the traffic out in the suburbs once you get off the interstate. Endless traffic jams crawling on two lane highways. No way I'd live there.
Funny you should say that. I got stuck in traffic on I-75 South for a job interview in downtown Atlanta after I separated from the USAF. That was over 35 years ago. We moved to the north side in Marietta and I drove down I-75 south for a few decades.
The feeling I got getting off of the midnight shift at Number One Peachtree Street (ITT) and then Number Two Peachtree Street (Sprint and MCI) was more exhilarating than I could ever describe. Resurgens Atlanta!
