This strange vehicle might look like a flying saucer, but it's not for extraterrestrials.
Humans looking for a trip that's truly 'out of this world' can now fly in style with the I.F.O or 'Identified Flying Object', a proposed two-seater drone concept that looks like a UFO.
The I.F.O is powered by eight electric rotary engines that push the saucer to an estimated top speed of 120mph (190kph) and can lift it to the average helicopter altitude.

Be sort of a return to their roots.
Gasp! :)
In the late 1970s, Popular Mechanics (iirc) covered a similar disc vehicle that was actually built and running. It had only 4 blades run by 4 wankel rotary engines, and supposedly reached a similar speed. But because it was not made of modern composites, it weighed enough to be used only as a hover craft, not a helicopter. As a kid I used to day dream about taking it out into the desert. :)
I could see it with a ball turret underneath...
Just put on some solar panels and you could fly all day-snicker.
If you hit those curves as 120mph there could be a spill.
Thank you!
