Any death resulting from an intentional act is classified as "homicide". Shooting three people with a rifle would appear to be intentional.
"Self-defense" is a mitigating circumstance that makes it justified. Otherwise the death may be considered a crime subject to prosecution.
Let us see if the District Attorney is willing to file charges. My best guess, based upon reported information is that they will not file anything against the resident.
Is there any previous connection between the resident and the newly deceased visitors? That might change things.
Life would be better if the Tulsa Weird reporters had to face situations like that.
