Pittsburgh PA station did a story a few years ago. Over 300 home invasions that year. Majority were someone knocking on the door of an elderly person’s home then forcing their way in when the homeowner answers.
Home invasions/burglaries are very scary. Most folks don’t expect a gun in their face when they open the door, or immediate forced entry, or people quietly entering a back slider door in the middle of day. A nice dog in the backyard could have prevented this home being targeted.
The young guy did very well for himself here.
I’m an elderly homeowner (74) with a 92 lb. Pit/Lab cross and a 115 lb. Great Dane, backed up by one or more big guns. Such visitors might have a bit of a problem here.
Good for them. That’s not how it is here. Judt about all are drug related. They just keep ripping each other off. A bona-fide cottage industry. Especially when 40 and unders are involved.
