Thank God for Rep Meadows outing the management amendment targeting veterans for substandard care. Trump was one hundred percent behind this evil while standing before a Medal of Honor winner.. I’m willing to allow that Trump has said he’d fix the VA. But I think he has to get that legislation passed, and EO’s in place, B4 pushing more people into the VA.
Consider what the story would be if he'd opposed it. Trump at war with his own party. Trump acting out like a spoiled child. Trump is wannabe dictator and king who wants Congress to kowtow to his whims. Now, having supplied Ryan with the rope and fitted the noose Trump can shrug, walk away, and announce that he'd done everything he could to help but Ryan failed. Trump's president till at least 2021, but Ryan is Speaker by consent of his peers and he just embarrassed the Hell out of them. And the metastasizing debacle of Obamacare still rests on the necks of the Democrats.
