Haven’t they been doing this successfully already, in the PSA annual blood tests for men? I guess the PSA is prostate specific, but the general capability has been promising.

There is a certain level of prostate specific antigens (PSA) in your body all the time and what is being monitored is the level of these antigens.
An increase in the antigen level usually means that prostate cancer growth has begun. Higher levels of Testosterone increases the rate of prostate cancer growth.
