My wife had an amneo. While it was useful, it had no bearing our decision to have a child. But on the scary meter, it was pretty much dialed up to 11.
Wow they lost two kids, that is tough. Could be another reason why he turned to drugs. I still do not understand how he got fentanyl. They use that stuff for anesthesia and for cancer patients and this guy was popping them like candy. And incredibly after he overdoses and it taken to a hospital near death, he is left alone where OF COURSE he overdoses again and dies.
I never cared for Prince while he was alive. He seemed to me a little self-important and narcissistic. My moniker for him was “the Purple Pansy with a messiah complex.”
Since his death, I’ve read several items that challenge my former view. He seems to have been a sensitive and caring soul whose values matched my own much closer than I had any reason to expect.
I often get in my flesh and, without realizing it, judge others harshly if their initial impression is not what I would like. That is the opposite of Christian love. And it is in direct opposition to the teachings of my Lord.
A much belated rest in peace, Prince.
He became a Jehovah’s Witness around 2000 or so. I recall several stories about people claiming he knocked on their door to witness to them. No one believed them but the local paper looked into it and it was him..
Thanks for posting this. I remember this sad story and thought of it again when Prince passed last year.
At the time our oldest was born, the reliability of the amniosentisis test was something like 55% and the possibility of miscarriage was unacceptably high.
So basically I could flip a coin and get the same accuracy without the risks.
