Dictionary dot com loves to debase the spelling.
The ‘summersault’ spelling is attested in the OED by numerous examples from recognized writers in the 18th and 19th century. Anyway, it is a corruption of Middle French ‘sombresault’, so there is no historically correct way of spelling it.
I do believe I saw where Chelsea C. has something to do with Dictionary.com, among other things like Expedia.
