It’s (probably not entirely serious) cheering for beautiful women seducing high school teens, but not men seducing underage girls. I’m not sure why that would not be a double standard.

To support one is to legitimise the other.

Older male / young female or older female / young male is a distinction without a difference. Neither males nor females are mature enough to nurture and support a child while they are minors. Nor are they disciplined enough to juggle active sexuality while meeting their obligations.

It’s a firecracker with two fuses. It doesn’t matter which fuse you light.

Using the term “double standard” implies that the sexes are the same, or so close to it that what pertains to men and boys should pertain equally to women and girls.

As long as there are two sexes, there will be two standards.
