I think as she is 15 it’s legally an abduction. His wife is begging him to turn himself in. Whatever route he’s taking, he’s headed for prison. It’s also reported he’s armed with possibly two handguns so he might not make it to prison.

Good question. Based on info from the TBI, it looks very much like it could be the latter.
