I think “If at first you don’t succeed” is not going to be a viable option here.

I thought the best part of the video was the little smirk the cop had on his face the whole time he was describing what happened.

I noticed that too.
I thought it was all he could do to keep from busting out laughing right on the camera.
Now they can’t be accused of gunning down an innocent black guy who was just turning his life around.
And the folks who ran him down looked black as well.
It’s a win/win situation.

Amir Obeid, manager of Denny's, decribed the incident as 'viglante justice' 'I'm not going to say any prayers for the suspect...Assuming Amir's prayers would be to Allah (Satan) anyway, they would not do any good. I ask Amir's forgiveness if the assumption is incorrect.

Wait until the victims (the driver at least) discover that they are likely to do more jail time than the criminal!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the driver because anything is possible in California. I honestly don't believe Hawthorne PD will recommend charges, and I doubt that the DA will press the issue. Although, it is possible that enough pressure will be brought to do so because the suspect was "running away" and was no longer a threat. (Not my view, it's the liberal view.)
Here's the bright side though. The driver can make the case that while he intended to stop the suspect, he never intended to kill him, and that the suspect caused his own critical injury because he possessed an "assault weapon." (I know, a pistol is not an A/W, but the media doesn't seem to know that.)

Many, many thanks for your play-by-play!
I can’t watch here on the shared work puter - it’s demanding a flash update that I can’t do.

Not to mention the kidnapping and attempted murder of himself.

Thank you. I assumed people would watch, or have watched the video, but I can never be sure. Sometimes there are situations, especially work, where the video can’t be viewed.
