Killing a cop...a fireman....an EMT? Fry ‘em! I wonder if the killer can be prosecuted under Federal law.Given that it was an EMT I'll bet that he can.That way,even though it's New York State the perp can get the hot shot under Federal law.It happened here in Massachusetts.The Marathon bomber was convicted under federal law and the jury gave him the DP even though Massachusetts,in its deep compassion,outlawed it.

Massachusetts never outlawed the death penalty. The U.S. Supreme Court did. The Great and General Court never got around to passing a new death penalty bill that could pass “Constitutional Muster.” What a farce. After a couple of pedophiles killed young Jeffery Curley in 1998, the state almost reinstated the death penalty, but the fix was in.
