To be honest, the predictions were that Long Island, for once, would not be overly affected by the storm.

In Central NJ, 7:30am, it’s storming!

In my part of Central NJ - Union County - it's sleeting now more than it's snowing. Only about 2" of snow on the ground so far. The latest forecast I saw this morning is 5-8" of snow & ice instead of last night's 12-24".

Still took the day off, nonetheless. Not looking forward to shoveling whatever amount is on the ground today. It's gonna be heavy!
