Same here. The song was linked to the team but its kind of weird since the lyric is “my sisters and me”.
I think Willie Stargell and the Pirates focused on the “We are Family” part of the song, not the “all my sisters and me”.
Sad to hear of her passing, at only age 60. The older I get, I’ve found myself focusing on how old people are when they pass on. And to see this Sister Sledge at 60, Carrie Fisher dies at 60, etc. makes me wonder about things.................
