I don’t travel, but if I were to vacation, I’d avoid places like that like the plague (because they do have the plague, in a sense). I’m 31 and would have very little in common with a 19 year old.
Spring Break...It’s like nobody goes there anymore because it’s too crowded. What a bunch of losers!
I don’t really want to leave the immediate neighborhood any more.

even the wet tee-shirt contests ?
I agree about avoiding Nassau on spring break, but you can stay in the Bahamas: on Eleuthera, Exuma, or Abaco you will find beaches just as good, with no spring-breakers getting in the way.
My college days spring break just meant more hours I could work and study. It also showed who had rich parents. No way I could afford a multi thousand dollar trip to some far off location just to have a week long bender.
My wife just got back from Cabo, said the college horde was just starting to trickle in. She couldn’t get out fast enough.
3, 2, 1... until FR’s resident church ladies show up to lament the state of today’s college students while casually informing us that their children plan on spending spring break engaged in Bible study and painting orphanages, —as they did in college.
I’m glad they mentioned Nashville. Been there twice and it’s a great city to visit and even more so if you want to avoid the college crowds. I remember going there in January and being able to walk around with my jacket open and not needing gloves or boots.
The main strip through town was packed with cars and people cruising. Things got out of hand in the late afternoon and by 8pm the National Guard showed up in force (by that time there were riots occurring along that same strip, complete with a capsized Winnebago).
My first Spring Break, I took a trip to Parris Island................
This is what "nobody goes there anymore" looks like today on Panama City Beach.I live here and have to put up with their traffic. I wish the crowds would "lighten up" a bit.....
Most of those places are real easy to avoid. Only people with lots of money can go there!
Seems like every college kid in the South comes here, Panama City, Destin, Ft. Walton Beach, Navarre to Pensacola, FL.
There is usually one or two deaths each year from falls off balcony railings by drunk kids.................
Same here in Destin/Ft. Walton, Traffic on 98 is at a standstill for six weeks or more...................
I personally know young people who would rather spend their time in Bible Study and painting orphanages.....
.....so what’s your point?
You prefer they were twerking and engaging in wet tshirt contests?
I also personally know a young lady who was part of the wet tshirt life style and regrets it much.......
What do you have against church ladies?
Spent 2 wonderful, quiet weeks on Green Turte Cay in the Abacos once.
Beautiful place.
Uh, I think Palm Springs has thrown it’s lot in with the LGBTQXYZ crowds. Or at least every other week(s) that it is not Spring Break, Palm Springs is that way.
Spring break is always good for a few railing deaths.
