My son told me two women called into work yesterday saying they wouldn’t be in today because of #DayWithoutAWoman

Not a gal, so I wouldn’t know about that, but I’ve been behind enemy lines my whole life.
I have twice had a customer try to convince my employer to fire me solely because I quietly responded honestly with a conservative (and scientific, since my background is in the physical sciences) opinion on “climate change”; the second time, the “liberal” raged at me, and as he stalked out of the store, saying I was a “terrible” person.
I rarely opine to the leftists who surround me, but when they do that, I just say they are free to do and say what they like, and that my boss is free to fire me if he likes. I believe in freedom for all.
But I do not retract, and I do not apologize.

That is exactly, precisely what I was thinking yesterday when I first heard of this communistic stupidity.
I thought of the police officers, the firemen (yeah, men), the auto mechanics, the plumbers... and that’s just for starters.
The country would halt as it never has with a government shutdown, and all the liberated, empowered women would be wailing for sympathy in their plight.
I listen to Rush and Savage Podcast during the day here.
The head phones save me.
No use in wasting my breath their hatred will destroy them.
