Yes it’s cruel in that it’s a terrible way to treat the mentally ill.
In the past these people were put in nervous hospitals. Now they are allowed to go forth in their delusions to the point we have to accommodate them?
Good grief please President Trump force these people to get the help they need! And parents who do this to kids? Get them for child abuse!
They’re not mentally ill. They KNOW they’re sick perverts.
Most of them don’t even need to be in mental hospitals. Many successful people wished to be the opposite sex - Willa Cather, Katherine Hepburn, Truman Capote as examples. But because they had artistic outlets as well as strong communities that didn’t give into their skewed thinking, they went on to live successful lives as the women and men they were.
Of course, there have always been transvestites. In the old days, the only people who knew this were their closest friends.
I despise this kind of brutality.
