Franklin County is about as rural as you can get. No big cities, or even big towns. But folks won’t garden without a handgun. You wouldn’t leave your wife at home without a gun. In fact, you probably wouldn’t want to go anywhere in that county without a gun. The ferals are out of control.

I spent every summer in Franklin Co. on my grandparents farm; my Mothers family has been there since the late 18th century. It’s obviously not what it used to be.
