Those islands are really what I’m trying to avoid. I know that every state has them - But sometimes their affect on the rest of the state is clearly too much.

In PA, for example, this ENTIRE state is a conservative paradise. It’s Philly and Pitt that throw everything off.

If NC has some art/college towns (Like New Hampshire does) than it’s not to bad. If they have blue voting towns (Which are usually such bad cities and towns that everything fits into two categories “will get raped/will rape you” then you’ve found one of those)

I mean people may not have an exact idea of how bad Pitt and Philly are. These are utter warzones. Gangster Rap is like a fine baroque chamber passage when compared to how bad these places are. These are like east african bad.

Tennessee is much of the same. It’s a beautiful state. And it needs those Tennesseeans to arm up and chase everyone out from the cities. Everyone. Just flush the toilet and drain the swamp.

compare two states: Colorado and Pennsylvania. I’ve lived in both, and love both. Colorado is FULL of democrats that do more damage at the polls than a nuclear bomb. But PA’s democrat areas breed violent, ULTRA VIOLENT criminals and degenerates that make it like a ring of hell. Colorado doesn’t have “Oh, don’t go there” regions like PA does. But the Colorado dems do more to screw with the american way of life than a 3 year long EMP black out.

Asheville, I get the idea, is a lot like the Colorado liberal areas. A bunch of hippies who line up to vote from communism wherever it is up for vote. I can live near these places.

But Philly don’t give a sh!t about no votin no how. They will take the train or bus or wherever and just start chimping out in the suburbs. They are a dangerous, dangerous lot.

New Bern, NC. Oriental, Beaufort, Emerald Isle, Swansboro, Jacksonville, etc., etc. Eastern NC is God’s county, and it’s conservative, filled with fishermen and retired military. Locals are friendly, hard working and helpful. Arts community is blooming. Lots of unspoiled nature due to the many military bases and parkland. Lots to do, with constant activities and festivals due to the great people moving here who are generous with their time and money.
