Seriously, the one thing that everyone MUST understand about the NE is the “Conservative yankee”. There aren’t many. Truly. If someone says “I think gun ownership is a right.. but” they are true a-holes. Fakers. CT is loaded with them. New York is worse. They think “The right to own and bear arms” means their wood stocked Fudd-gun, but think that no one needs an MP5. Or even what one is.
