God is stretching out the heavens, increasing the latent energy, euphemistically called zero point energy. When the Universe was much smaller, the speed of light from A to B was greater. The speed of light transit from A to B is much slower now, because the latent energy pops more particles in and out of existence in the path from A to B.

Thye Scriptures tell us that there is coming a day when God will roll up the heavens like a scroll. What do we suppose the mass of latent energy will do when this 'roll-up' happens? The Scriptures also tell us that God is going to create a new heavens and new earth ... for a preview of this 'coming attraction' watch the Rapture which is coming soon to a planet near you. ...
