Early in 1968, at the same time "Love is Blue" was riding the charts, another beautiful French import, Ame Câline (Soul Coaxing) by Raymond Lefèvre was getting airplay on Adult Contemporary and even Top 40 stations. It nosed into the national Top 40 at #37.

I remember in that era another French song that featured the refrain J'taime with a lot of heavy breathing. A Class 1 back seat make-out song!
