Fed them what information? No one has come up with one shred of anything that suggests any connection between Trump, his team and Russians. The whole story was concocted to divert from the content of the Hillary/DNC leaks.
That said, I'm sure Trump assumed from the beginning that Obama/Hillary would be bugging him... and took appropriate precautions (which is why they never got any dirt on anything whatsoever on him).
