Video at link. Well well, lookie here, some liberal foodies feel uncomfortable being bothered by panhandlers. St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman who considers himself Mr. Inclusive, who still pats himself on the back for lighting up City Hall in those pretty rainbow colors in commemoration of Gay Pride Week, and has "banned" Pres Trump from "his" city, ordered St. Pete's finest to crack down on the beggars. Even though St. Pete is practically San Fran on the Gulf, this behavior could be bad for business, and business is business.

Sounds like cop speak, where a touch is an "assault" and suspects beat the cops' fists with their faces.

The video is not conclusive from what I saw. The defendant is walking along with his hands in his pocket when the cop grabs him from behind. It is hard to tell if the outfit the officer is wearing is a police uniform (khaki pants and dark polo) or plain clothes. There is no audio.

If someone else grabbed me like that I would defend myself. If properly identified as a police officer I would have stopped when told to do so.

Most likely this guy is a know troublemaker but the video does not really clear it up for me.
