Trump will have two years to make the case for his policies. Predicting what will happen in 2018 is a bit premature. If the economy is booming with more Americans participating in the workforce, the Reps will do just fine in the midterms.

It will be overconfidence leading to a reduced turnout that kills GOP in 2018. Add to that the elitist GOP Progressive establishment wing of the DNC going hard against incumbent TEA party people and yes, I could see that.
But not for Beck's reasons.

Can you give it find a direct quote? Did Beck say the Democrats BELIEVE they can win big, or did Beck say HE was buying into the notion?
My opinion: the Democrats will lose bigly next year.

It’s much more likely that the REAL Tea Party will reemerge and be completely reenergized now that we have a shot at implementing many of our goals. President Trump will likely have the wind at his back if it looks like the uniparty is frustrating the long-deferred goals of the 2010 Tea Party.

In my opinion, you should have turned the radio off once you recognized Glenn Beck's voice. I automatically change the station or hit the off button when I hear the voice of Glenn Beck or the music or vocals from Light My Fire.

First mistake. You listened to Glenn Beck.

Beck predicts, huh? Gee, I wonder how President Romney will handle that as he completes the last two years of his second term. Oh, wait...

There’s paid imitation and then there’s the real thing.
Once again, image over substance for the Dems.
Substance always wins because it it real and not just a reflection of itself.
Also, rabid protesters only annoy people and turn off “supporters” and the uninvolved.
Also, if you are real, image is always playing catch up.

I will simply point out that Beck has been wrong on everything for the past two years and I do not see that changing.

Democrats have to be paid to do anything for their party. Paid protesters, paid rioters, paid fake outrages, etc. If they weren’t being paid, barely anyone would be out there doing these things for them. It was never like that for the Tea Party. What happened to glen beck?
To: MNDude
They certainly are angry.
They may be so angry that they drive off people who might otherwise vote for them.
Politics and the economy are cyclical and what goes up eventually comes down, but the Democrats may trip themselves up with too much emotionalism.
