I received no reply and I am more than a little put off by Levin having representing to consumers that Mark Steyn was part of the deal when in fact he had stopped mentioning Mark Steyn soon after I signed up for a second year based in part on Levin's representations about Mark Steyn's participation in the show.
I have enjoyed Mark Steyn's presentations with the exception of his music and found his interviews to be valuable, fresh and relevant. I know of no apostasy that Mark Steyn has committed against conservatism either on CRTV or elsewhere. The manner of the firing smacks of the treatment of MacArthur and is beneath Mark Levin who owes people who are more than fans, who are paying consumers of his product, a complete explanation.
He owes consumers a refund if they choose to demand one.
Virtually on the same day that we learn that Steyn has been fired we are exposed to the first pathetic offering of the new Steve Deace show which was painfully amateurish. Mark Steyn's offerings were always first class. CRTV has been diminished by the exchange.
As to the replies on this thread and a companion thread by people who cannot stand Mark Levin because he has offered trenchant criticism of Trump when deserved and, to be fair, support when deserved, I note that the bulk of these critics boast that they have never seen the show. The show is excellent. Levin consistently defends conservatism and does so with impeccable logic and showmanship. Michelle Malkin has made contributions which have been absolutely first-class, of a quality to compete with 60 Minutes but from a conservative point of view. However, her offerings have been too few with the last important one having been about two weeks ago. "Louder with Crowder" is a young man who shows great promise, great presence and great wit but he appears as one who needs seasoning. I understand what Levin is trying to do with Crowder, to garner a younger demographic and I think Crowder can succeed, but he needs better production values and he needs better staffing.
Mark Levin is a national treasure and he should be applauded for all his contributions to the conservative cause as an author, as an active litigator, as a public servant in the Reagan Administration, as a crusader for the impeachment of Bill Clinton, as an early supporter of the Tea Party, as an innovator for conservatism, as a highly successful radio personality, and now, by all accounts, as a financial success in his television show. Above all, Levin is to be applauded for his clear eyed devotion to conservatism and courageous independent voice against the dangers of a cult of personality which threatens any movement if not opposed on behalf of eternal values.
I think Levin has committed a mistake concerning Mark Steyn, I think he is duplicating his obnoxious treatment of callers with whom he disagrees but I do not confuse hero worship of Donald Trump with conservatism, nor do I confuse conservatism with hero worship of Mark Levin.

As a person with a great appreciation for satire, let me say I loved this.
He vowed for months he would go to NV to campaign tirelessly against Harry Reid when Reid was running for re-election and opposed by Sharon Engle. Then, some dog got sick so that was ML's excuse to stay home and just yell over the airwaves. As I said, the time for action to save this country is upon us and ML is nothing but useless talk. FU ML. Thank God for President Trump.
