Guess they did a double to make up for the racist awards last year by doing black and gay on this one. I’ll be sure to put it on my must NOT watch list.

This year was the Affirmative Action Oscars. Period. I read that Moonlight had very little in box office revenue. If nobody wanted to see it, how could it be best picture? Although I will acknowledge it is a twofer, Black AND gay.

That is exactly what I think. Just looking at the previews, it looks to me like a garbage picture that only won because it featured black actors and black producers. After the big kerfuffle last year about "Oscars so White", Hollywood had to do their typical liberal pandering thing.

I personally thought Will Smith deserved an Oscar last year for his movie "Concussion". He did an awesome job portraying the character of that Doctor. I've been told by people who claim to know that he just picked a bad year to do it. Apparently LA was trying to get a football team and Will Smith decided to pick a fight with the NFL at the same time.

Word is, had they given him an Oscar, it would have endangered their chance at getting a team. So they did what seemed to them to make the most economic sense.
