Meryl is a star. Among her credits are many Charlie Chaplin movies. In her seventies Ms. Streep successfully transitioned to talkies.Hated her since Kramer vs Kramer. Don't care how many experts say she is great. I see a fake accent, posturing, scenery chewing fraud.

Only scene I liked in Kramer vs Kramer was his naked girlfriend accidentally meeting the son. Movie would have ended better with the girlfriend marrying the father.
Streep gets more obnoxious by the day.
