My mom mentioned it earlier regarding Streep and others wanting to make it into Trump bash fest, but I didn’t know it was going on tonight. I understand some people like this stuff, but all the majority of these Hollywood people can go to hell.

Jimmy Kimmel ( in a reference to what Trump said ), made a crack -— “I’m sorry for what happened in Sweden”

All my life my dream was to work in the business (behind the camera). At a relatively old age, I packed up and moved to LA because I didn’t want to look back and regret not trying. I was one of the lucky ones to get my foot in the door and stay there until I had to move back to the Midwest to take care of my mom. After a few years she died and had I been younger, I would have returned. I missed everything about the world of show business and ached that I wasn’t a part of the show I had worked on, missed the friends I had made, missed the neighborhood I lived in. After this last year, I am so disgusted and angry at the behavior of the Hollywood community, many of whom I know personally or have worked with. (There is a large populace of conservatives in Hollywood, but we all know to keep our mouths shut). The yearning is dissipating as my respect for those who I considered mentors have waned. For this, I am sad.

Iranian lady accepted the prize for somebody from that country who won an Oscar for something but wouldn’t attend “out of sympathy” for his countrymen who would be excluded by Trump’s travel ban - setting up countries where people can’t travel sets some of us against others - go tell it to your leaders, lady, who regularly exhort their flock “death to America”.....

Warren Beatty emulated Steve Harvey’s screw up in the Miss Universe contest and WRONGLY read the winner as LA LA LAND.

The winners of La la la Land were all making their speeches when Warren Beatty came out and apologized saying that he misread the winner and the winner was really the film, MOONLIGHT.

So the cast of MOONLIGHT came up and gave their speeches.

was over at a friends house watching if you listen to warren baitey. he starts talking about politics. at this point I think he is going to go on a anti trump tirade but looking back I believe that he thought that the fix was in for best picture so when he opened up the envelope he picked the movie that probably really did win best picture and announced la la land instead of the crappie picture that was given the award.

The fact that Midnight won “Best Picture” show you that it's possible to intimidate a Liberal to get your way. The Blacks were upset that no Blacks were nominated for to top Oscars last year.

They protested and they threatened. And low and behold, this year a Black film wins Best Picture. Conservatives need to take note.

The Oscars were far more tolerable when the award winners simply thanked everyone from their mama to the high school junior-year drama teacher and then got the hell away from the mic. Ah, but now... they have their pet liberal causes — the latest hating Trump — to push onto the world.

It's not about acting it's about earning the respect and admiration of the creative community!

Hehe, I was just watching Futurama and Calculon reminded me of the awards.
