Eugene is definitely a red shirt - at least in my book.

This makes the third time he has been beaten and cowed by the saviors, and he caved in and spilled his guts every time.

At the very least, he needs to surrender his man card. Three hot babes come to rock his world, and all he wants to do is play video games. How can any man relate to that?

Sheeeeeit. Dwight is one messed up MF’r. Eugene turned out to be the biggest coward and weenie boy ever and the women in Negan’s camp seem to be the only ones with balls. Geez.

I’m really looking forward to the episode when payback happens to Negan and justice for those who deserve it. I’m hoping Rick and Maggie (and maybe Rosita) takes out Negan in some really badass fashion and Daryl takes out Dwight in way that highlights his insanity and evilness.

The doc didn’t deserve that at all. There’s a special place in hell for Dwight for making that happen.

You can always tell when a show is done so good that you begin to identify with the characters the actors are playing. TWD is one of those shows.

Eugene is a coward by his own admittance. HOWEVER, he has adapted to this new world and being the “smarty pants” uses it to his advantage. All of the crap his was saying he was to neegan (degrees in biochemistry, biology, a PH.D, etc.) is all a bunch of B.S. Notice his smile as he walks away.

He did the same thing to the red headed army guy, convinced him that he worked for the CDC or something and could finish up the cure.

He has his usefulness as well - just not as a fighter. Not sure why he didn't go in on the poisoning Neegan thing. Maybe he thought it was a “test” (I thought it was - maybe it was?). Or maybe he thought the odds were against it.

I'm hoping that armoring the walkers with molten metal won't come back and cause problems for the good guys - but I'm guessing it will.
