Folks, February is almost over, 1/6 of the year is over. Time is roaring by, hope you’re enjoying it.
It’s an Academy Awards theme...loving Jack Benny and his take on Lost Weekend...never heard of a show Academy Award...Jubilee seems like an armed forces music show...and ending with a Lux!
How goes it?
I’ll be listening tonight!
I never watch the Hollywood self-indulgent awards.
Hello everyone and special hello to sweet, beautiful Gina!
Hi, Vision. Happy Mardi Gras!
How’s your week been?
Hello, Onyx! I miss you!
Hey.
In the Golden Age Hollywood loved America, created timeless art, and was moral. Today they use witchcraft to cast spells on a Republican president and create trash.
You? I always forget about Mardi Gras being up here.
I miss you, too!
I hope to make a trip “home” in early Spring!
I’ll drive to the Coast!
Yes, you’re right!
Most of Hollywood were patriots.
Oh, bummer. I’m sorry to hear that about your work. I also hope it gets better.
We spent the night in Mobile yesterday. We went to one of their big Mardi Gras parades with Keith’s brother and his girlfriend. It was fun.
That would be excellent, dear Onyx! We would LOVE to see you!
Looking good and happy!
Thanks for posting this every week. I miss Ed Walker. The new guy doesn’t really fill Ed’s shoes. The new guy is clearly a lib.
Unfortunately the whole WAMU station is NPR uberlib. At one time (a very, very, long time ago) the Big Broadcast under John Hickman (before Ed took over) would play episodes of “Amos and Andy” but the liberal management of the station put an end to it. You can still find hundreds of free episodes of “Amos and Andy” at archive.org.
Thanks, welcome.
:-D Yep, we were (and are)!
Murray is obviously a Lefty, but I give him credit for trying. Somebody put a fair amount of research into assembling this week’s show.
