The people who actually watch these award shows are a mystery to me. I mean I realize they must be out there, after all things like the home jewelry shopping network and WNBA actually exist. It must be some combo of gay men and women.

While I love many of her movies ( Little Man Tate, The Brave One, Nell, to name a few ) her activism sadly taints her entire career for me.
The Oscars used to be a hghlight.

I agree. What they have to say about anything is just so unimportant. Most of them are good looking, rich and, some are musically and artistically talented, but wisdom? Better look somewhere else for logic and wisdom.
