I sort of remember if one got a couple hundred back in taxes you were sort of very lucky...It was recommended to come as close to zero as possible and I do believe one of the reasons was Why let the govt hold that money then give it back to you? You are basically giving them an interest free loan every month..

OF course I also remember (barely) of biting my toenails and now I can barely clip them.
