The new slogan for CBS News is Real News. (Seriously, it is. How pathetic.) In the wake of wide spread accusations that they are just another fake news network, they seem to be getting pretty defensive. Real News. Really? Media analyst Mark Dice has the story.

CBS. We were fake before fake was fake.
I haven’t watched CBS News since Dan Rather’s “fake, but accurate” smear campaign against President Bush in 2004. A cheesy slogan won’t bring me back. I am totally done watching the national news on any of the alphabets. They have lost me forever.
The way we should treat this is by calling it “the first attack of the media wars.”
