I agree with both you and the commenters. Something is being left out of the story to make the teacher into a sympathetic figure. It sounded fishy and not worth mentioning when I first read it a couple of days ago. I only posted it so the admins wouldn’t think the original poster (the one who got his thread pulled) was just posting fake news.

What you said just gave me an idea. Whenever it can be demonstrated that a "reporter" has deliberately left out relevant details in an effort to mold opinion, there should be a fine levied for attempting to manipulate the public.

One of the biggest problems the nation currently faces is Biased "journalists" attempting to manipulate the public to push an agenda. We need to develop some methodology for fighting this problem.
