Is this a day without Immigrants or a day without ILLEGAL Immigrants?

I’m confused too. As a naturalized immigrant do I get a free day off or not. Should I check with the German immigrant society ?.
Well I was just going by the official title for the thread title. Preety sure where were sitting the help are citizens of another country ;)

I’m glad someone else noticed that. Despite a poster calling on “undocumented” immigrants to strike all I’ve heard this morning is a strike by immigrants as a whole.
3 reasons why whomever is in charge is trying to expand the strikers;
1. It would be easy for ICE to know who wasn’t legal by their absence.
2. Employers could no longer claim ignorance of a worker’s status if they didn’t show up for work today.
3. What if all the striking illegal immigrants didn’t “paralyze” the country as they threatened to? How much power do they really have?
On their flyer they even call on residents and citizens to skip work!
